Tired of grinding 16 leather just for a basic backpack? Good news—that's been cut in half. And yes, there are dinosaurs now.
Update 1 is Hytale's first major patch since Early Access launch. It's packed with new content, balance changes, and over 50 bug fixes. Here's everything that matters.

New Content
Underground Jungle Gets Dinosaurs
The underground jungles now have dinosaurs and new NPCs. These are still work-in-progress with placeholder behaviors, but they're explorable now.
⚠️ Important: You won't see them in already-explored areas. You need to generate new chunks by exploring unexplored territory.

Creature Fixes
Fire Creatures Finally Work Right
The problem: Fire-themed enemies were taking fire damage. That's... not how fire immunity should work.
The fix: Fire NPCs and creatures are now immune to fire damage. They'll still visually catch fire (that's being worked on), but they won't take damage from it.

Audio Polish

Just launch Hytale—updates download automatically. For the dinosaurs, remember: explore new areas. Already-loaded chunks won't have them.
